Like most days, we had a customer stop by for something simple—ID cards, a vehicle change, adding a driver, or sharing life updates. Sometimes those updates are joyful, and sometimes they’re heavy.
This particular customer has walked through all of the above with us. Recently, we had the honor of helping him through the life insurance claim after the passing of his wife of more than 60 years.
Today, he came in for ID cards and policy updates. Noticing Aylin and Reece with me, he asked if I would walk him out to his car because he had something he wanted to give me. In the back of his car were bags of books from Mardel—something he keeps on hand to give to others.
A simple, unexpected act of kindness…
This was the highlight of my day and a reminder of why relationships matter so much in what we do. ❤️
