It was an honor to speak today at the International FinTech Forum 2026.
The forum brought together speakers and professionals from Croatia, Israel, the United Kingdom, and Taiwan, with experience spanning fintech strategy, banking, capital markets, digital assets, financial regulation, global asset management, and investment.
In my session, “Taiwan’s Virtual Asset and AML Practice,” I discussed Taiwan’s transition from AML registration toward a permission-based and institutional virtual-asset market. I also highlighted how legal rights, accounting, internal controls, AML, custody, and market infrastructure must work together before RWAs and digital assets can be adopted by financial institutions.
The presentation also covered digital bonds, stablecoin accounting, KYC, KYT and Travel Rule integration, as well as Taiwan’s opportunity to become a trusted Asian connection point for regulated digital finance.
