Compliance isn't a checkbox. It's infrastructure.
At Moody's Digital Trust Briefing 2026 (26 May, Singapore), our Group Chief Compliance Officer Summer Yu joined a panel on "Building Trust in Web3.0: Tackling Financial Crime in the Age of GenAI" — alongside David Pan (Moody's), Diederik Van Wersch (Chainalysis), and Chunhou Kok (DCS Card Centre), moderated by Xiao Chen (Moody's).
Three themes anchored the discussion:
→ Stablecoin ratings and independent risk assessment are raising the bar for market confidence
→ Financial crime is evolving faster in always-on, cross-border digital systems
→ AI-augmented controls and blockchain analytics are complementing — not replacing — traditional AML frameworks
As stablecoins become core settlement and liquidity infrastructure, the institutions that lead will be those that embed governance from the ground up.
That's the standard we hold ourselves to at MetaComp.
