FRV Australia awarded Long Duration Storage LTESA for Armidale East BESS in New South Wales

Fotowatio Renewable Ventures - FRV Australia’s Armidale East BESS has been awarded a Long-Term Energy Service Agreement (LTESA) under the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Program designed to accelerate the rollout of long-duration storage that contributes to the security, resilience, and decarbonization of the state’s electricity system.

The project will have a total capacity of 315 MW, of which 157.5 MW (1,260 MWh) has been awarded through the tender for an 8-hour duration system, positioning it as one of the most significant long-duration energy storage projects in the country.

We are proud and honored to announce the Jameel family has been recognized for their pioneering and longstanding global support for the arts, as Fady Jameel (Chairman Art Jameel, and Vice Chairman, International Abdul Latif Jameel) has been awarded the distinction of ‘Chevalier’, in L’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministère de la Culture – France’s prestigious honors system which acknowledges those enabling and making considerable global cultural impact.

This recognition of support for the arts – including establishing Art Jameel, Hayy Jameel and Jameel Arts Centre – marks 80 years of the Jameel family’s pioneering commitment to philanthropy.

This honor particularly marks efforts that have deepened cultural ties between France and the Middle East through major initiatives in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and beyond.

We extend our deepest thanks to the Ministere de la Culture and to the French Embassy and Consulate in Saudi Arabia.
