في منتدى مجلس قادة التجزئة العالمي الذي استضافته الرياض، شارك سعود السليمان، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة السليمان، في جلسة ناقشت ما الذي يجعل قطاع التجزئة في المملكة أكثر قدرة على المنافسة.
الحوار نظر إلى المنظومة ككل؛ من السياسات والتنظيم، وتخطيط المدن، والتقنية، إلى تفاصيل التشغيل اليومية. ومن منظور الأعمال، أكّد سعود أن التنافسية الحقيقية لا تُقاس بحجم التوسع فقط، بل بكفاءة التشغيل، وجودة النتائج، وتقليل تكاليف وتعقيد ممارسة الأعمال.
كما شدّد على أن الشراكة الفاعلة بين القطاعين العام والخاص ليست خيارًا إضافيًا، بل أساسًا للوصول إلى حلول عملية تُسهم في تطوير المرحلة القادمة لقطاع التجزئة في المملكة.
At the RLC Global Forum hosted in Riyadh, Saud Alsulaiman, CEO of Alsulaiman Group, took part in a panel discussion exploring what makes Saudi Arabia’s retail sector more competitive.
The discussion looked at the ecosystem as a whole—from policies and regulation, urban planning, and technology, to the realities of day-to-day operations. From a business perspective, Saud emphasized that true competitiveness is not measured by the scale of expansion alone, but by operational efficiency, quality of outcomes, and reducing the cost and complexity of doing business.
He also stressed that effective public–private partnership is not an optional add-on, but a core foundation for reaching practical solutions that can shape the next phase of development for the Kingdom’s retail sector.
