Equity Bank Rwanda is a commercial bank licensed by the National Bank of Rwanda. Equity Bank Rwanda commenced operations on 25th November 2011 and was launched officially on 17th February 2012. With its headquarters in Kigali, the Bank currently has nine Branches namely: Kigali, Nyarugenge Market, Nyabugongo, Remera, Muhanga, Musanze, Rubavu, Rwamagana and Rusizi and still growing. In an effort to take financial services closer to the people, the Bank has embarked on a roll out of agency banking services. So far, there are 700 licensed Equity Bank Agents countrywide.
