State-owned Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE) recorded strong growth in its housing credit guarantee portfolio during the first half of 2026, reflecting sustained lending activity and continued demand for affordable housing finance.

As of H1 2026, the total value of loans guaranteed amounts to P343.39 billion, representing a 9.44% increase from P313.77 billion recorded in the same period in 2025.

PHILGUARANTEE achieves 99.48% Service Score and receives Compliant Rating from ARTA for FY 2025 Client Satisfaction Measurement

Service excellence remains at the forefront of PHILGUARANTEEโ€™s mission as it received compliant remarks from the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) in its implementation of the Client Satisfaction Measurement (CSM) for FY 2025.

Based on the ARTA evaluation, PHILGUARANTEE achieved โ€˜Outstandingโ€™ marks, highlighted by a 99.48% rating in Service Quality Delivery (SQD) for External Services. ARTAโ€™s evaluation was anchored on the Corporationโ€™s 2024 Citizenโ€™s Charter (7th Edition).

PHILGUARANTEE posts 43% growth in agricultural guarantees for H1 2026

State-run Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE) expanded its agricultural credit guarantee operations significantly during the first six months of 2026, driven by increased lending activities among partner lending institutions (PLIs) supporting small farmers and fisherfolk (SFFs).

Citing its latest Agricultural Guarantee Fund Pool (AGFP) status report, total Year-To- Date (YTD) guaranteed loans reached P3.34 billion as of June 30, 2026. This figure reflects a 42.96% increase from the P2.34 billion recorded in the same period last year.

Commercial, thrift, and rural banks led the expansion, accounting for P3.09 billion in guaranteed loans or a 50.63% surge from P2.05 billion in H1 2025. Partner cooperatives likewise contributed to the growth, rising 23.83% to P176.99 million from P142.93 million.

PHILGUARANTEE joins NREA 2026 Mid-Year General Membership Assembly

State-owned Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE) joined the National Real Estate Association, Inc.โ€™s (NREA) Mid-Year General Membership Assembly 2026 held last July 24, 2026, at Bayview Park Hotel, Manila.

SVP Teresito Cayo A. Butardo, Group Head of the Housing Guarantee Group, received a citation from NREA on behalf of PHILGUARANTEE, where it highlighted the Corporationโ€™s continued support for housing sector initiatives, especially promoting greater access to sustainable housing finance.

On 08 July 2026, the Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE) was recognized as one of the Top 10 Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) during the 2026 GOCCsโ€™ Day, in recognition of its Php 1.860 billion dividend remittance to the National Government for fiscal year 2025.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., together with Finance Secretary Frederick Go, Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, and Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) Chairperson Atty. Marius Corpus, led the recognition ceremony at Malacaรฑang Palace, where certificates were presented to GOCCs that collectively remitted record dividends to the National Government.

Representing PHILGUARANTEE, President and Chief Executive Officer Alberto Pascual received the recognition on behalf of the Corporation, affirming PHILGUARANTEE's strong financial performance and steadfast commitment to supporting the country's economic priorities through sustainable credit guarantee programs.

PHILGUARANTEE, Producers Savings Bank ink P1-Billion Housing Retail Guarantee Facility

State-owned Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE) and Producers Savings Bank forged a P1-Billion housing retail guarantee facility, in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

To formalize the collaboration, PHILGUARANTEE President and CEO Alberto E. Pascual, SVP Teresito Cayo A. Butardo, and VP Michael R. Lagrosas convened with a delegation from Producers Savings Bank. The bank was headed by Chairman Gilda E. Pico, together with COO Andrei D. Cornejo Jr., Vice Chairman Sandra C. Mendoza, SVP Adrian Jean Claude D. Cornejo, and EVP Cenon M. Ladringan.
