Women's Micro Bank Limited (WMBL), branded as Mama Bank is a licensed Micro Bank regulated by the Bank of PNG. WMBL formally known as PNG Women in Business Microfinance Institute Ltd established in 2010, received its Banking License from Bank of PNG in May 2014. The Bank is the (5th) deposit taking licensed Micro Bank and more importantly the first Women's Micro Bank in PNG and the Pacific Region.

Currently it has a clientele base of over 95,000 and is the only financial institution, with an explicit focus on women in PNG. With its first few months of operations, the Bank has been selected as one of the best companies for women among APEC Countries. CUSTOMER NOTICE/UNCLAIMED MONIES

Womenโ€™s Micro Bank wishes to advise its customers that under the Banks Financial Institution Act 2000, accounts not in use by customers for over seven (7) years will be closed and funds paid to the Receiver of Public Monies โ€“ Department of Finance. Therefore, we request all our esteemed customers to check their names through scanning the QR Code and reactivate their dormant accounts.
You can find the full list of customer names in our branches and on our social media pages. Please liaise with your respective branch for further guidance and support. If the accounts are not activated by 31 December 2026, we will send the amount to the Department of Finance.
