As part of our rebrand launch in the New Guinea Islands Region, our Kokopo team had the privilege of supporting St. Mary’s Hospital, Vunapope with a donation of essential medical supplies for the Well Women’s Clinic.

During our visit, we witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by the healthcare team, and the difference even practical support can make. The supplies provided will support other key departments within the hospital—extending the impact to the wider community across Kokopo, East New Britain, and beyond.

The gratitude and emotion shared by the hospital team was a powerful reminder that small acts, done at the right time, can create meaningful change.

TISA Insurance officially unveiled its new brand identity in Papua New Guinea as part of the Group’s wider rebrand rollout across its Pacific markets — marking the transition from Capital Insurance Group to TISA Insurance.
Hosted on home ground in Port Moresby, the event brought together customers, partners and stakeholders, to celebrate an important milestone in the Group’s journey.

More than just a new name, TISA Insurance signals the next chapter of the Group’s journey — bringing together a stronger regional identity while continuing to stand alongside the communities we serve across PNG and the Pacific.
Group Chairman Michael Koisen and Group CEO Jeremy Norton reflected on the Group’s journey and growth over the years, while the Group COO Richard hosted the evening as MC.
The evening also marked the launch of TISA Insurance’s new modular medical insurance product, presented by Head of Medical Aphiwe Mpuma. Designed to give families and businesses flexible health cover based on their real needs, the product focuses on practical, accessible healthcare protection for everyday Papua New Guineans.

Guests also heard from a panel discussion featuring Dr. Athie and Aidan Toua, who spoke on the importance of healthcare access in today’s changing environment and the need for flexible health solutions that genuinely support Papua New Guineans.

The combination of the rebrand reveal and medical product launch made for a well-rounded and enjoyable evening, complemented by entertainment, networking, and meaningful conversations.
