What happens more often to you: entering too early or exiting too early? 🤔📉

If you've been trading for any length of time, chances are you've done both.

You see a setup forming and suddenly you start thinking, "Why wait? It's probably going to move anyway."

So you enter early.

No confirmation yet.

No clear signal.

Just a feeling that the market is about to move.

Then price does what it always does... it starts moving around, retracing, creating noise 😮‍💨

Now you're stressed.

Now you're questioning the trade.

Not because the setup was bad, but because you got in before your plan told you to.

Then there's the other side of the problem.

Exiting too early.

And honestly, this one hurts differently.

You enter a trade correctly.

Everything looks good.

Price starts moving in your favor 📈

You're in profit.

But instead of letting the trade play out, fear starts talking.

"What if it comes back?"

"What if I lose this profit?"

"Let me just secure something."

So you close.

A small win.

Nothing wrong with that, right?

Then you watch price continue moving exactly to your original target.

And suddenly that small profit doesn't feel so good anymore 😅

You start thinking about what you could have made.

You start replaying the trade in your head.

The truth is, both mistakes come from the same place: impatience.

One trader is impatient to get in.

The other is impatient to get out.

And both can quietly affect your results over time 📊

That's why trading isn't only about finding good setups.

It's also about giving those setups enough time to develop.

The market doesn't move because we're ready.

It moves when it's ready.

And sometimes the hardest thing for a trader to do is simply wait.

Wait before entering.

Wait before exiting.

Wait before reacting.

Because patience isn't just a trading skill.

It's one of the things that separates emotional decisions from disciplined ones 🧠📈

So which one sounds more like you?

Getting in too early... or getting out too early?

You ever take a trade mainly because you were tired of waiting? 😅📊

Not because the setup was perfect.

Not because all your conditions were met.

Just because you had been staring at the charts for so long that doing nothing started to feel uncomfortable.

If we're being real, almost every trader has been there.

You open the charts.

You do your analysis.

You mark your levels.

Then you wait.

And wait.

And wait some more. 😮‍💨

The market isn't giving you what you're looking for.

Nothing looks clean.

Nothing matches your plan.

But after spending hours watching candles move up and down, a strange feeling starts to creep in.

You begin to feel like you should be doing something.

You start convincing yourself that a setup is "close enough."

You start lowering your standards.

What wasn't a valid trade an hour ago suddenly starts looking attractive.

Not because the market changed.

Because your patience ran out.

And that's where a lot of unnecessary losses come from 📉

The funny thing is that boredom can be just as dangerous as fear or greed.

People talk a lot about revenge trading and FOMO.

But boredom trading doesn't get enough attention.

Sometimes traders don't lose money because they saw a bad setup.

They lose money because they got tired of waiting for a good one.

The market has a way of testing patience.

It doesn't move on your schedule.

It doesn't care how long you've been watching.

It doesn't give opportunities just because you're ready for one.

That's why patience is such an important skill in trading 🧠📈

Because the ability to do nothing when there's nothing to do is what protects you from forcing trades.

The next time you're sitting in front of the charts feeling restless, ask yourself one simple question:

"Am I entering because the setup is there... or because I'm tired of waiting?"

That answer alone could save you from a lot of unnecessary trades.
