We proudly unveiled our newly commissioned UBA building at the heart of the University of Lagos.

Representing our Group Chairman at the commissioning was our GMD/CEO , as we reaffirmed our belief in investing in the next generation of African leaders.

Beyond the building itself, is our support to the continued growth and development of the institution, because at UBA, we believe that empowering young people is one of the greatest investments we can make for Africaโ€™s future.

Strong partnerships remain a key driver of sustainable business growth and national development.

Our Executive Director, Digital Banking, together with the Group Executive, Treasury & Financial Institutions, led a high-level engagement with the leadership of the Ghana Gold Board, where they met the Chief Executive Officer, Samuel Gyamfi, to explore strategic partnership opportunities and business support solutions for GoldBod, aggregators, and players across the gold value chain.

The discussions focused on how innovative financial solutions, digital banking capabilities, treasury services, trade facilitation, and value-chain financing can support the continued transformation of Ghanaโ€™s gold ecosystem.

As Ghana strengthens reforms within the gold trading sector through GoldBod โ€” with a strong focus on traceability, formalisation, value addition, foreign exchange generation, and sustainable growth โ€” partnerships between financial institutions and key industry stakeholders will be critical in unlocking greater economic opportunities.
