THE COURIER OR CUSTOMS SCAM
You receive a call:
“Your package is stuck at customs.”
To release it, you must urgently pay:
• Clearance fees
• Customs taxes
• Insurance charges
The package doesn’t exist.

THE “TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE” VEHICLE DEAL
You find a luxury SUV online. The price is unbelievably low. The seller claims they’re relocating overseas. Shipping to Namibia is “included”.
You’re told to pay quickly before someone else buys it.
So you transfer the money.
The vehicle never arrives.
Warning Signs
• Vehicle price far below market value
• Seller refuses video calls or in-person verification
• Pressure to pay urgently
• Payment requested via unusual channels
• Fake shipping documents
• Poor spelling and suspicious email addresses
Reality Check
If a N$2 million vehicle is selling for N$85,000, you are not lucky. You are being targeted.
