Bellatrix SME Finance Drives SME and Green Financing Conversations at Invest in Africa 2026
Bellatrix SME Finance announces the sponsorship of the upcoming Invest in Africa 2026 Trade Expo & Business Summit. Taking place from 28 - 30 May 2026 in Swakopmund, Namibia.
The summit is expected to bring together stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem from across the continent to explore opportunities in trade, industrialisation, infrastructure and investment collaboration.
For Bellatrix SME Finance, the event represents an important platform to advance conversations around alternative financing models that support African businesses beyond the limitations of conventional lending structures.
The team will operate a live Pre-Assessment Desk at the exhibition, providing direct engagement opportunities for contractors, suppliers and SMEs attending the summitacross all three days. The team will also spotlight the Bellatrix Green Finance Facility, a dedicated fund providing concessional, project-based financing for environmentally focused initiatives across sectors including tourism, agriculture, energy and biomass. The facility supports projects that contribute to Namibia’s sustainable development and broader African growth.
Representing Bellatrix SME Finance at the summit are Senior SME Analyst Vekunda Kakujaha, alongside Investment Analysts Jacobine Nangolo and Maria Shipahu.
In addition, Bellatrix SME Finance will host two side engagements:
• Capital Unlocked: The SME Funding Mixer on 28 May 2026, bringing together contractors, procurement stakeholders and business leaders for networking around SME funding solutions.
• The Namibia Business Angel Network (NABAN) Pitch Event on 29 May 2026 under the theme “Tourism & Hospitality”, where entrepreneurs will pitch to analysts, investors and ecosystem stakeholders exploring investment and partnership opportunities.
