Seoul's New Landmark, Seoul Moon🌕🪂
The giant moon-shaped tethered gas balloon, Seoul Moon, officially opened on August 23 after six months of preparation!
Enjoy a unique view of Seoul from above Yeouido, where nature and the urban landscape blend beautifully!

➰Location: Yeouido Park, 68 Yeouigongwon-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu
➰Located a 5-minute walk from Exit 3 of Yeouido Station on Subway Lines 5 and 9
➰Operating Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM (Closed on Mondays)
➰Ticket Price: Adults 25,000 KRW
➰Flight Duration: 15 minutes per ride

➰Maximum Capacity: 30 people
➰Altitude: 100 to 150 meters depending on weather conditions

Though it looks like a hot air balloon at first glance, it uses helium buoyancy for vertical flight and is safer due to the use of non-flammable gas. The balloon is tethered to the ground with cables, minimizing the risk of deviation from the planned flight path.
Similar tethered gas balloons operate in places like Szechenyi Baths in Budapest, Hungary, Disneyland Paris, and Walt Disney World in Orlando, USA.
