KenyaβDRC trade is not just about the opportunity. It is about making that opportunity accessible.
Yesterday, UBA Kenya joined business leaders and stakeholders at The Congolaise Chamberdrc Members, CEOs & Senior Executives Business Forum for a candid conversation on the opportunities for deeper trade, investment and business between Kenya and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
One of the key questions was simple: How do businesses enter the DRC market despite the challenges around infrastructure, documentation and cross-border transactions?
Representing UBA Kenya was Patrick Karume, RM Trade, who shared how the right financial infrastructure and strategic partnerships can help businesses move from opportunity to action.
Through Trade Finance, cross-border payment solutions, PAPSS and the Africa Trade Gateway (ATG), UBA is helping create pathways for businesses to access markets, connect with verified buyers and suppliers and make cross-border transactions easier.
Because finding an opportunity is only the beginning. Businesses also need the right partners to help them take that opportunity across borders.
As Kenya and the DRC continue to explore new avenues for trade, investment and economic cooperation, conversations like these are an important step towards turning potential into real business.
At UBA, we are committed to making trade across Africa easier, more connected and more accessible.
