Cushman & Wakefield was proud to participate in the Capital Markets Forum at the 2026 Urban Land Institute APAC Summit in Shanghai, where K K Chiu, Chief Executive, Greater China, joined industry leaders as a featured panel speaker.

Speaking on the panel “Green Shoots – Is Now the Time to Buy in China?”, KK shared his insights on the continued evolution of the Chinese mainland real estate capital market, highlighting the growing importance of C-REITs in connecting private real estate assets with public capital markets and supporting a more institutional and transparent investment landscape.

KK also discussed how investor focus is increasingly shifting towards income quality, operational performance, ESG outcomes and long-term asset management capabilities as the market continues to mature.
