The 5* reviews just keep coming! I always try and interact with my clients that are coming to the end of their mortgage product well in advance of the expiry date. This allows a stress-free remortgage route where I can check new lender rates to see if there's a better deal by moving lenders or whether the best option for the client is to stay with their existing lender and take a rate switch. From there my rate tracking service can prove a valuable addition to make sure the client gets the best rate possible.

This was another client with a residential remortgage product that was ending very soon. They'd been on holiday for quite a long time and had left it to the last minute. I still managed to arrange a remortgage product which actually started a month early so they could make a saving based on their current rate.

it's been such a busy time in the mortgage market recently, with rates going up by more than 1.5% since March 2026. I've been helping clients to secure remortgage products early to lock in a rate as the worst-case scenario and from there hopefully it can only get better. It can be a worrying time if you're remortgaging in the next 6 months and my rate tracking service can only be of benefit to my clients.

Always good to start the week with a 5* review. Clients had been sitting on the same mortgage for years at a very high rate due to some adverse credit issues and finally decided to do something about it. Even though we had a curve ball at the application stage, some solid reasoning with the underwriters got this one to offer quickly. Another happy client.

It was a long journey for this client and I was so pleased to be part of it! I initially started working with this client 3 years ago and there were adverse credit issues to work though but we made a plan and 3 years later she was able to purchase her council property through the government right to buy scheme. Her kind words really hit home and made me smile. When new clients come to me we are not always in a position to apply for a mortgage straight away and it can be more of a case of getting "Mortgage ready". Hard work and persistency paid off for both of us 😚

Not all cases are straight foward and some come with numerous hurdles to over come. Due to this lender selection is crucial from a customer point of view. This case was pretty complex so research was the key before application. Another happy first-time buyer looking forward to getting the keys to their first home.
