A new £5k deposit mortgage has launched for first-time buyers 🏡

With saving for a deposit continuing to be one of the biggest barriers to home ownership, lenders are starting to introduce more low-deposit options to help buyers get onto the property ladder sooner.

Some key features of the new Halifax product include:

✔️ £5k minimum deposit
✔️ Available on properties up to £300k
✔️ 5-year fixed rate
✔️ £0 product fee
✔️ Free valuation included
✔️ Available on second-hand properties
