🔋 Supporting innovation in one of the UK’s emerging industries.

We’re delighted to have brokered a six-figure commercial property finance deal to support Ecoshred UK’s purchase of its two-acre industrial complex in Widnes - home to one of the UK’s first specialist lithium-ion battery recycling facilities.

Working closely with directors Ben Dawbarn and Anthony Hulmes, our Head of Property Finance Gary Beggs helped secure a 25-year commercial mortgage over a five-year term through HSBC, providing the business with the long-term security needed to continue developing its groundbreaking recycling operation.

The project is already working with the University of Leicester to develop technology that could help keep critical minerals within the UK supply chain, while creating new jobs and opportunities.

A complex deal in an emerging sector, but another great example of how the right finance solution can help ambitious businesses move forward.
