🏡 What difference can the right home improvements make?

We’re launching our 2025/26 Social Impact Report - and this year, we're looking beyond the numbers.

Behind the £4.52 million in lending and 388 homeowners supported are real people making important changes to their homes.

Changes that can mean a warmer home - a repaired roof, greater independence, lower energy use, or simply feeling more comfortable in the place you call home. 💚

Our report explores what happened after the finance was provided, including a 44.7% improvement in life satisfaction among customers responding to our impact survey and an estimated 165.8 tonnes of CO₂e savings.

Following today's Government announcement of the Warm Homes Loan Scheme, we wanted to share an update on Lendology's involvement.

Although approved to participate in the national scheme, Lendology is not among the lenders offering loans at launch. Its future participation will depend on securing a suitable funding partnership to provide the lending capital.

We continue to provide low-interest home improvement loans to homeowners through our established local authority partnerships.
Just last week, applications opened for the North East Warm Homes Loan, delivered by Lendology in partnership with the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority.

The North East scheme builds on our work with local authorities, including Suffolk County Council and local authorities in the South West, where loans are tailored to local priorities and homeowners' circumstances. These programmes are separate from the new national Warm Homes Loan Scheme.

Lendology has also contributed to discussions with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) during the development of the national scheme.

We will continue delivering our existing council-backed loan schemes while exploring opportunities to participate in the national programme.

A little look at what Team Lendology has been up to over the last six months! 💚

Together, we're bringing the North East Warm Homes Loan to homeowners and landlords across the region, combining local funding with our experience in responsible lending to help eligible homeowners and landlords make their properties warmer and more energy efficient.

The North East Warm Homes Loan will provide finance for improvements including insulation, solar panels and heating upgrades.

☀️ This , we're celebrating the changes homeowners are making to improve energy efficiency at home.

Over the past year, we supported 177 solar installations, 70 battery installations and 35 heat pumps.

Paul in East Bristol is one of the homeowners behind those numbers.

Since having solar installed, he can see how much electricity his home is generating, what he's using and what he's sending back to the grid - giving him a clearer picture of his energy use at home.
