£5,000 for Elsie - what an amazing community we have!

A few weeks ago, we held our Great Towers & Gornall Bake-Off for Elsie, and we’re delighted to share the final total.

A massive thank you to everyone who baked, donated, volunteered, bought a raffle ticket, came along on the day or simply helped spread the word. Together, you helped us raise an incredible £3,500.

We’ve added a further £1,500 from our T&G Community Fund, bringing the total donation to an amazing £5,000 to help Elsie continue accessing the therapies and treatment she needs.

We couldn’t have done it without all the brilliant cake makers, volunteers and members of our community who got behind us and made the day so special.

What a fantastic day filled with such incredible community spirit!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our ‘Great Towers & Gornall Bake-Off’ and helped us raise £3,179.01 for Elsie, including the money raised through our Lucky Dip at the Garstang Show (see pictures of some of the winners below). It was wonderful to see everyone come together for such a special cause on Saturday. Every penny raised will help Elsie access the ongoing therapies and treatment she needs.

We’re really proud to support the British Thoroughbred Retraining Centre (BTRC) as one of our charity clients. The BTRC does incredible work rehabilitating and retraining former racehorses, helping to give them a new chapter beyond the track.

Their Open Day on 22nd August is a fantastic opportunity to visit the centre, meet some of the horses and find out more about the important work they do.
