Saving for a mortgage deposit can be very difficult if you are renting especially when you consider the current cost of living !🚨

Did you know You could qualify for a mortgage if you have managed to save £5,000? 💷

- As always strict criteria apply & they are as follows

- You are aged 18 or over ✅

- You are a first time buyer with a deposit of at least £5000 ( it cannot be a gift)💰

- The property you want to buy is worth between £102,000 and £300,000 🏡

- The property will be the only one you own

- You must have a squeaky clean credit history / score ✅

- Not available for New Build properties, new build conversions or property renovations ✋

🚨Bank of England votes to hold base rate at 3.75%

📈The decision, delivered by the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), keeps borrowing costs unchanged following March’s hold at the same level.

👍This is great news and a welcome relief for mortgage holders on variable / tracker rates and those whose fixed rates are coming to an end.

I know many were worried what impact the Middle East conflicts would have on interest rates here !!
