We’re proud to be corporate sponsors of Norwich School and are delighted to support their programme of career and business breakfast events for pupils.

For the first in the current series, our Director of Business Services, Frances Kemp, spoke to students about career paths within the financial advice industry.

Aiming to inspire the next generation of professionals, she shared her expertise and experiences to provide a glimpse into the wide range of opportunities available within the sector, ranging from advisory roles to those in client support, compliance, marketing, HR, and IT.

It was a brilliant opportunity to give pupils a taste of what a career in our sector might look like and to dispel some common myths too. The result was an engaging and enjoyable session that inspired thoughtful questions from pupils.

We look forward to continuing our support for the programme, which will see other professionals from our local business community outline career options within their sector.

We've recently joined the Norfolk Community Foundation's Good for Good programme, a skills-exchange initiative which is helping small charities fill their skills gap through collaboration with local businesses.

Director of Business Services, Frances Kemp, featured in the foundation's Pulse newsletter today, outlining the importance of the programme and our involvement. She said:

“For us, the Skills Exchange is about applying our expertise in a way that delivers meaningful, practical value to charities. As a team, we’ve had the opportunity to support a number of projects, and I’ve also been involved directly, which has reinforced how impactful this kind of support can be. When charities are given the space to strengthen their internal capabilities, it ultimately enables them to deliver more effectively for the communities they serve.”
