Index Linking: What You Need to Know!

Ever heard of index linking but not quite sure what it means? Here's the short version.

When you insure your buildings, the figure you give insurers should be the rebuild value — what it would cost to rebuild the property from the ground up, not its market value.

Index linking automatically increases that rebuild value in line with rising costs of materials, labour and professional fees.

Not every insurer applies it automatically, and it is optional. As your broker, we'll always flag this when we review your cover.

Even with index linking in place, it's worth reviewing your sums insured every year to make sure your rebuild figure is accurate.

If your broker isn't having this conversation with you, find one who will. We raise it with every client before we even look at quotes.

Our sales team bring in the new business, you take it from there, sourcing terms, placing cover, and building the client relationships that keep people with us for years.
We're looking for someone with at least 3 years' broking experience, a sharp eye for detail, and the kind of personality that makes clients want to work with them. Acturis experience is a bonus but not essential.
There is a competitive package, investment in your development, flexible working, and a genuinely friendly, close knit team where you're never just a number!
