Great new local business!🩷

Important update! Far more important than any changes or alternations, we had a very important person come into the shop for a hot chocolate and we are feeling very privileged 🥰😎❤️ lovely to see you Mr Cox..

Ohhh but we do have a little bit of great news,.we are going to be open for one day for hot takeaway drinks on Saturday and staying open to hopefully welcome trick or treaters to the shop in the evening! so bring your little monsters and buckets and we'll be sure to add a treat or two! 🎃👻

💜 Two removals. Two very different situations. One Angel Support visit. And a seriously good day for the MFH team.

Slightly late posting this one — but yesterday was also Tilly’s birthday, so I think we’re allowed. 😂🎂

🚐 Removal number one

This job started on Friday.

We moved the first property into the new home, then returned on Monday for phase two — moving the contents of a second property into the same destination.

Once everything that mattered was safely moved across, we completed the remaining clearance as well.

So rather than the customer having to organise separate companies for different stages, we were able to support the whole practical process:

Property one → new home
Property two → new home
Remaining clearance → completed

🏡 Removal number two

This one had already started before moving day.

We’d carried out a pre-clearance, helped work through what was staying and what could move on, and prepared the property for the final move.

On Monday we then:

📦 Packed the remaining belongings
🚐 Loaded and completed the move
♻️ Cleared what was left
🏠 Left the property ready to be handed back to the estate agents

Some unwanted items were also kindly donated into our reuse system, meaning suitable belongings can have another life and help support the wider practical work we do for other households.

And after all of that…

💜 Angel Support

We also fitted in support for one of our overwhelmed-household clients.

A completely different type of job — but actually the same principle underneath it:

Meet the person where they are.
Work out what genuinely helps.
Then get stuck in.

That’s what I’m proud of when I look back at days like this.

We’re not trying to be the biggest removal company with the biggest lorries.

We specialise in the smaller moves, complicated moves, downsizing, clearances and practical home situations where somebody might need a little more than simply “van turns up, furniture goes in.”

Two removals completed.
Two properties cleared.
One home ready for handover.
One Angel Support visit.

And a very busy MFH team. 😂🌈
