Not earning? You can still be building a pension.
In episode 5 of our Summer Reset I shared one of the most underused rules there is. A non-earner can have £2,880 a year paid into their pension, and tax relief automatically tops it up to £3,600. That's free money from the government for someone on maternity leave, taking a career break or caring for family.
If one of you has stepped back from work, this is one of the simplest ways a couple can keep both futures growing, not just one.
