Starting out, I was misunderstood, mocked, criticised for a lack of organisation, discouraged at every turn, told I was dreaming too big, that I was too ambitious, that it would never work.
And yes, since founding Sutterson Reed, there have been moments of triumph, but there have also been setbacks. I have had to rework countless elements, adapt my business model repeatedly, revamp our website, refine our branding. Yet, through it all, I never lost faith—in myself, in my vision, and in my unwavering belief that I could craft a truly exceptional private office with Sutterson Reed.
The truth is, no business is perfect from day one. Translating your vision onto paper in a way that everyone else can understand is an immense challenge. But with persistence, experience, determination, and a complete dedication to my work, the pieces of the puzzle have slowly come together. It hasn’t been an easy climb, and I’m far from the summit, but I cherish the privilege of this journey. I welcome the challenges along the way and take pride in celebrating every single one I’ve overcome.
That’s why, despite the obstacles, I am incredibly proud and excited to share some news. Sutterson Reed has evolved, strengthened, and flourished in the shadows—but as they say, success has a way of making its own noise.
After two and a half years of hard work, sacrifice, perseverance, stress, learning, joy, fear, and above all, passion, I am thrilled to officially announce the opening of our brand-new offices!
But that’s just the beginning. Our team is growing, with two remarkable new professionals joining us, adding their expertise, energy, and drive to our collective mission. On top of that, we’ve finalised an eagerly anticipated collaboration that promises even greater opportunities for our clients and our future.
To those who doubted, who questioned, who told me this wouldn’t work—I invite you to take a look at what’s been built. This is the culmination of two and a half years of relentless effort and belief. And while we celebrate today, I assure you, this is only the beginning of what’s to come.
To anyone on an ambitious path of their own, remember this: perseverance, passion, and patience will serve you well. The road may be winding, but it is absolutely worth it.
