• Significant hazards (e.g., damp/mould): Must be investigated within 10 to 14 days, with physical repair works starting shortly thereafter.
• Tenant Rights: If a landlord misses these legal deadlines, tenants will have the right to take them directly to court for breach of contract, potentially triggering heavy fines and compensation payouts. Under the Renters' Rights Act, letting a property with severe category 1 hazards can also carry fines up to £7,000

September in a few pictures! What a month it’s been at Hanna Properties💪

It’s taken a few weeks but now taking the time to step back, reflect and realise what we have achieved and what a great team we are building

🏆 Finished a back to brick refurb on Southcoates Lane. 13 weeks start to finish with no room left untouched. Central heating installed, electrics renewed, new kitchen & bathroom, re-plastered throughout, landscaped rear garden. Will make a perfect family home

🏆 Started on our next project on Boothferry Road. Roof replaced, strip out commenced. Updates to follow

🏆 Record new instruction month with 8 new properties coming to market and tenants secured

🏆 Agreed auction purchase of another refurb project that will kick off early 2027

🏆 Took some much needed time out as a team to drive some supercars in the last of the summer sunshine
