John Townsley recently joined longstanding clients Paul and Troy Gershon, owners of DCC - Different Class Cars in South Woodford, for a networking lunch at the Turf Club in London.

Having arranged their motor trade combined insurance for 15 years, John welcomed the opportunity to catch up away from the day-to-day business.

The lunch also brought together people from the legal, energy, accountancy and automotive sectors, alongside a representative from the British Embassy in Paris. A valuable day of conversation, sharing experiences and exploring opportunities to collaborate.

For us, taking the time to understand our clients and maintaining those personal connections has always been central to how we work.

Last week, John was in London at the historic Turf Club in St James meeting with a long-standing insurance market contact, Gary Honey of M & M Underwriting.

Having worked collaboratively for over 15 years, it was a valuable opportunity to discuss current market developments and continue to strengthen a professional relationship built on trust, expertise, and mutual respect.

Gary specialises in Public and Product Liability insurance programmes on a worldwide basis, including complex USA exposures. He is particularly well known for his expertise within the automotive sector, supporting businesses from prototype development through to production, with a strong focus on low-volume vehicle rollout programmes.

Latterly John & Gary socialised with some colleagues in the Legal & Medical profession highlighting the benefits of networks, collaborations to stay connected with specialist insurers and industry professionals, helping us ensure our clients continue to benefit from informed, practical advice.

Strong relationships across the insurance market remain one of the most valuable tools we can offer our clients.
