Delighted to share that the Scottish Government has today opened the First Home Fund again which is a Shared Equity Scheme designed to help you get on the property ladder.
🧡 A deposit contribution of up to £10,000 is available in the form of a Shared Equity loan which is repayable when you sell the home later on. No monthly payments required.
🧡At least one applicant must be a First Time Buyer
🧡Available on any property on the open market up to £300,000
🧡A deposit contribution will be expected from applicants too.

Great news to hear that the Scottish Government are planning on releasing a new FIRST HOME FUND scheme offering up to £10,000 deposit support for purchasing your home. Full details are yet to be released but the scheme is due to open towards the end of June 2026.
