The Mercat Centre The Mercat Centre is a community building run by the charity organisation Kilmuir and Logie Easter Action and Development Group also know as KALE.

Opening hours during school term:

Monday 9.00 - 3pm
Tuesday 9.00 - 3pm
Wednesday 9.00 - 3pm
Thursday 9.00 - 3pm
Friday 9.00 - 3pm
Saturday CLOSED
Sunday CLOSED

st founded by local people in 1995. In 1997 the group opened the first Community House as a base to deliver services to the local community. The building we now see today (The Mercat Centre), situated next to the Primary School in the village of Milton, was completed in October 2010. Below are just a few of the groups and services available at the Mercat Centre:

- Breakfast club
- Access Pod - a dedicated telephone, online computer and printer
- Recycle Room
- Bingo
- Photography Group
- Homestart East Highland
- Lending book Library
- Office Services
- Training and Course
- Parent and Toddler Group
- Chatty Crafters
