In 2021 we bought a disused dairy, a toilet block and a farmhouse and we smashed them all together to create our home 🏡.

We wanted to live in a specific area but house prices were out of our reach at the the time, so we did what we’ve always done & bought somewhere empty where we could add value,

We’ve lived here 4 years now & have made soooo many changes as we’ve added kids into the mix ❤️

Greywalls update 🏨

This Lake District 17- unit aparthotel is nearing completion!

It’s been a big big project but we love this stage when the final product becomes really clear and there really only is cosmetic finishing touches to add ❤️

Not our most productive month ever.
We had goals of getting an offer accepted, onboarding new investors & getting the keys to a project that’s been in legals for a while.

But sometimes things don’t go to plan! & its fine to share that.
Deals fall out of bed, things go wrong on site & despite your best intentions you win some you loose some.

We still progressed projects, spent lots of time with family, George ran an impressive ultra marathon & we kept showing up every day & fought a lot of fires 💪🏽

November is a very busy month in our house so let’s hope that energy seeps into everything else too 📈

George took to the stage earlier this month at PROSPERITY NETWORK YES event to talk about the years we didn’t buy anything & how we decided to scale this year.

For a couple of years we took it steady, focusing on our project management business & doing a few small developments. We learnt a LOT of lessons, built experience and a good track record. No cashflow targets, no purchases.

This year we wanted some change, we’ve bought more units than ever before and shifted our focus to cashflow 📈
Each deal pays its own way and eventually funds the next.

This week has been a hell of a punch in the face & it’s only Wednesday 🤡

Mass furniture delivery on site, masses of snagging, still lots of construction work taking place on other floors while blinds and bedding are being installed on others…

Property development, especially on this scale, is NOT for the weak ‼️

Still a million jobs to complete & hurdles to overcome before we open next month. We made the tough decision to push back our opening at the start of this week, it was too tight & issues arose on Monday that we weren’t prepared for. Property development is a constant evolving & challenging job. This hotel has been our biggest development to date & it sure has taught us 1 million lessons….

As always thank you to all the trades on site powering through, our wonderful investors for helping us bring this magnificent building back to life & the public for being very gracious and understanding with our delayed opening…. Let’s go 🚀
