It’s been a minute…

I have been working on a lot in the background, Upperton Advice has now merged with Arnott Guy & Co

All my clients are aware of the change but you can check out the website link in my bio to find out more about the business as a whole.

But the main thing is I’m still here and will still be using the socials platform for the same thing, providing information about mortgages and insurance… I might even start to introduce the wider financial planning side of things too as time goes by.

The business has expanded but it’s still me and Karen here helping clients and we have welcomed to the business to help with the expansion of the mortgage and insurance side of the business.

The mortgage market is constantly changing, whether it is interest rates or the way lenders assess your application.

Santander have proven that today with a big change for First Time Buyers, they have released their “My First Mortgage” product, aimed at first time buyers looking for a mortgage over 95% of the property value and up to a maximum of 98%.

Some of the key criteria listed below however to see if this could help you speak to a mortgage advisor to find out more…. (but not limited to and subject to credit scoring)

• FTB only, including joint mortgages.
• Maximum 98% LTV.
• Minimum deposit £10,000.
• Maximum loan £500,000.
• Maximum term 40 years.
• Repayment only.
• 5 year fixed rate. ERCs apply.
• Gifted deposits accepted.
• No flats, new build or properties in Northern Ireland.
• Not currently available to self-employed applicants or Shared Ownership schemes as the maximum LTV is 90% for now.

Another year ticked off and another year of growth, thank you to all our clients and anyone that has supported us over the past year, we appreciate you 🙌🏻
