Our Employee of the Month for April is Hugh Harvey.

Hugh received the most nominations this month, and the consistent feedback from colleagues makes it clear why. He achieved an outstanding 100% quality score, passing all 21 reviews with no fails or PWL-an impressive reflection of his accuracy and high standards.

Beyond this, Hugh is a valued team member who supports both call handling and the Digital team, consistently meets his KPIs, and is always willing to help others. He brings a positive attitude, treats everyone with respect, and goes the extra mile in small but meaningful ways.

This is Hugh's first time receiving this award, and it's great to see his hard work and contribution to Opos recognised.

Hugh has chosen to donate the £1000 award to Robin house. They're a charity part of CHAS (children's hospices across Scotland) and they support children with cancer and their families. They provide specialist care, end of life care, counselling, and financial support for children with cancer but also to their siblings and parents too to help make the journey smoother.

Our Employee of the month for February is Jennifer McAuley.

Jennifer is one of our longest-standing and most reliable colleagues, consistently supporting both our digital and telephony teams to a high standard.

This month, she stood out for the exceptional way she handled a highly sensitive call involving a vulnerable customer at active risk. Jennifer remained calm and professional, keeping the customer engaged while arranging a welfare check and gathering key information for the emergency services.

She also stayed on the call for an hour beyond the end of her shift, demonstrating outstanding dedication and care.

Please join me in congratulating our first Employee of the Month for 2026, Samantha McQuillian.

Samantha has continued to shine since stepping into the Team Captain role, and the feedback from her colleagues speaks volumes.

She is consistently positive and approachable — always greeting people with a smile, checking in with others, and helping to create a welcoming atmosphere across the floor. Samantha fully engages in team activities and social events, which plays a huge part in building strong morale within the office.

From a performance perspective, Samantha continues to deliver excellent results, consistently passing QM across both calls and digital. Her adherence has remained strong despite the additional responsibilities of the TC role, and she has shown great flexibility and willingness to pick up anything asked of her. She is always happy to help and brings a real sense of fun and energy to the team.

A fantastic example of a standout team player — well done, Samantha. This recognition is thoroughly deserved.

June is one of our team leaders and has been a big part of our business for over nine years.

She is one of our most experienced, dependable, and dedicated colleagues.

Our Employee of the Month for November is Sreedevi Gopinathan.

Sreedevi has been with the business for over eighteen months and has consistently delivered strong performance across all of her KPIs.

Here are a few comments from her colleagues:

Some of our strongest agents work quietly in the background without seeking recognition, and Sreedevi is very much one of them. She consistently ranks among our top performers, achieving a 100% pass rate last month and maintaining one of the highest adherence levels on the team. She is a fantastic asset to the floor and an absolute pleasure to work with.

In October, Sreedevi passed all of her calls and has continued this excellent standard throughout November. She has also maintained 100% adherence, demonstrating outstanding performance across every KPI. Her attendance and timekeeping remain exemplary.

This is for families who cannot afford the extra food costs, they also have a Christmas toy bank easy year.

Our Employee of the Month for October is our very own Collections Manager Ross Docherty.

We don't often give this award to managers, especially senior ones, but Ross truly deserves recognition for his consistent contributions to the business.

Almost everyone at Opos, as well as our clients, has worked with Ross and experienced his calm, steady approach to managing both his workload and his team. Ross always finds the time to support others, picking up ad hoc projects, when resources are tight, and Ross consistently delivers—quickly, efficiently, and reliably.

After his recent wedding (and well-earned three-week honeymoon!), it became clear just how much Ross supports his colleagues, and the wider business.

Eilidh recently transitioned into the Compliance function after a successful period within the Contact Centre and Digital team.
