Our Employee of the Month for August is Sri Lakshmi Virabhadran.

Sri is a fantastic example of what we look for at Opos. Despite being relatively new to the business, she has shown how quickly someone can progress through hard work, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. She has built her knowledge and confidence quickly, takes feedback on board and applies it to her work.

Sri consistently leads by example in QM monitoring and demonstrates the behaviours we value across the team. She works hard while always being supportive of those around her, whether helping on calls or emails, and brings a positive attitude every day.

Sri is a real asset to the team and thoroughly deserves this recognition.

Sri has chosen to donate the £1,000 award to Dumbarton District Women's Aid. This charitable organisation works tirelessly to support with temporary accommodation with practical and emotional support. They offer telephone advice whenever needed, they help you get back on your feet and find somewhere safe to rest along with any children you may have.

Our Employee of the Month for July is Nik Stokes.

Nik joined DDI as a Trainee Software Developer just over a year ago and has quickly built a strong understanding of Angular, Node, and OpenEdge.

One of his colleagues in DDI commented:

He has successfully completed the transition of the old CallCent front end to the new Angular version, which is now live, and is continuing to migrate other areas from the legacy system. Nik continues to grow in his role, consistently exceeding expectations by expanding his knowledge across the various programming technologies he works with. He is becoming an increasingly valuable member of the team.

This is a fantastic achievement for someone who is still relatively new to the world of software development. Nik's dedication to learning, willingness to take on new challenges, and the impact he has already made are a real credit to both himself and the team.

Nik Chose to donate the £1000 to CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) . They are a UK charity dedicated to preventing sudden cardiac deaths in young people through awareness, heart screening programmes and medical research. The charity helps identify potentially life-threatening heart conditions in people aged 14–35 and also provides bereavement support to families who have lost loved ones to undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

Our Employee of the Month for June is Ava Mcintyre.

Ava received the highest number of nominations, with colleagues consistently highlighting her professionalism, reliability, positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences.

Her Quality Monitoring results reflect the high standards she sets, with consistently strong performance since joining the business. Ava is always willing to support the wider team, whether working calls or emails, and adapts seamlessly to whatever is needed.

A key theme from the feedback was that Ava can sometimes be a quieter member of the team, but this is because she simply gets on with the job, supports those around her and consistently delivers great results without seeking recognition.

Her maturity, work ethic and dedication to both customers and colleagues are truly impressive, and she continues to lead by example through her attitude and reliability.

Our Employee of the Month for April is Hugh Harvey.

Hugh received the most nominations this month, and the consistent feedback from colleagues makes it clear why. He achieved an outstanding 100% quality score, passing all 21 reviews with no fails or PWL-an impressive reflection of his accuracy and high standards.

Beyond this, Hugh is a valued team member who supports both call handling and the Digital team, consistently meets his KPIs, and is always willing to help others. He brings a positive attitude, treats everyone with respect, and goes the extra mile in small but meaningful ways.

This is Hugh's first time receiving this award, and it's great to see his hard work and contribution to Opos recognised.

Hugh has chosen to donate the £1000 award to Robin house. They're a charity part of CHAS (children's hospices across Scotland) and they support children with cancer and their families. They provide specialist care, end of life care, counselling, and financial support for children with cancer but also to their siblings and parents too to help make the journey smoother.
