Yesterday the Bank of England held the Base Rate at 3.75%, however a few lenders have increased their rates this week, with another few reducing rates. Sadly those that have reduced are also adding high Lender Arrangement fees to client’s mortgages. Please….if you need a mortgage, or want to switch to a new rate, then please contact me as I have access to all lenders, no matter if you want a Residential Mortgage, Buy to Let or even a Further Advance, or even if you are an Ex Pat, please know I’m here to help. You do not need be a Foster Carer as I’m happy to help all.

Wishing all my clients old and new, a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy 2026! It has been my pleasure to help so many of you achieve your dream of purchasing a new home, remortgaging to raise funds or to obtain a better interest rate. Please know that I will continue to provide each and every one of you with the best service possible. Please know I don’t only assist Foster Carers, I also arrange mortgages for self-employed, employed clients and even those with impaired credit as well as Buy to Let.

Thankfully interest rates have come down considerably in the last few months which has enabled me to assist new buyers and those re-mortgaging. I have done literally of hundreds of mortgages for foster carers over the years, having been doing this for 35+ years, and am responsible for setting up the arrangement with lenders, and now have quite a lot of mainstream lenders on board, who are happy to lend. Not only do I deal with foster carers, but also with self employed and employed clients too. If anyone feels I can help, then please do not hesitate to message me and I will do everything to help.

For those of you worried and concerned about the interest rates, there is some good news with a few lenders now having reduced their fixed rates.
