🤠 HOLD YOUR HORSES... WALTER HAS LEFT THE BUILDING! 🤠

Our hard-working Chief Barketing Officer, Walter, put in a grueling four hours of moral support here this morning before deciding he was utterly burnt out. 🐾

🚪 He officially clocked off at lunchtime for a mandatory, all-afternoon power nap. Heavy lies the head that wears the collar. 💤🐕‍🦺

The reason for this extreme exhaustion? He’s carbo-loading on sleep to prepare for the big Bank Holiday Weekend at the Hunwick Village Show! 🗓️✨

This year’s theme is Country & Western, and Walter is already practicing his best cowboy swagger. 🤠🇺🇸

He is currently experiencing a deep existential crisis over whether to enter the Fun Dog Show. The main dilemma keeping him awake (well, asleep) is: would he effortlessly scoop 1st prize for "Most Handsome Dog," or would the judges be blinded by his rugged, outlaw charm? 🤔

🥇 We’re already hunting for a miniature Stetson and a tiny sheriff badge to sway the vote.

Walter is officially 56 in dog years, which means he is finally old enough to understand the current interest rate market. 📈

Today’s Birthday Schedule:

9:00 AM: Reviewing files. (Chewing on a premium invoice). 📄
10:15 AM: Staring intensely at Michael, hoping for a 50% cut of his mid-morning banana. 🍌
12:30 PM: Assessing the risk of Stuart not sharing his lunch. (Risk level: Critical). 🥪
1:30 PM: Sleeping on the job during team meetings. 💤
3:30 PM: Barking at the printer. (He suspects it is trying to fraud us). 🖨️

As a Lab, his corporate policy strictly requires all birthday wishes to be paid in high-value treats, dropped crumbs, and ear scratches.

Walter here, your favourite part-time Office Labrador and Chief Morale Officer at Mapps Mortgage and Insurance. Even though I’m only in the office part-time—when I'm not busy "working" from home or enjoying a good nap—the humans tell me we are looking for a full-time Business Administration Apprentice to join our pack!
You'll be based in our General Insurance Department in Crook, Monday to Friday.

What You'll Be Doing:-
Handling incoming calls and emails.
Assisting with customer insurance policies.
Keeping internal systems accurately updated.
Providing excellent day-to-day office support.
Hanging out with me on my office days!

What We Offer:-
A Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship qualification.
Full training and mentoring with New College Durham.
Supportive, family-run business environment.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Competitive apprenticeship wage.

🚨 ATTENTION: THE SUIT IS ON! 🚨I am so excited, human friends!

We have a very special day ahead tomorrow... Tiegan is getting married!! 🎉💍

Check out my outfit! I am rocking a sharp suit, a bright orange bow tie, and a matching orange rose. 😎 Honestly, my only real worry is outshining the bride. It's a heavy burden being this handsome, but someone has to do it. 🤷‍♂️🐾

Because I look so official, I've been appointed the Chief Security Officer for the wedding gifts. I can assure you that nobody is getting past my sharp eyes... unless, of course, they bribe me with a piece of chicken. 🍗👀

🐾 TGIF, humans! Walter the Office Lab here with some very important news. 🐾

It is Friday, which is already great, but this is officially one of my absolute favourite weekends of the entire year. Why?

Because tomorrow is the annual Mapps BBQ! 🌭🍗

Right now, Clare is in the kitchen cooking up an absolute storm and preparing for the big day. I am doing my absolute best as Chief Taste Tester, which means sitting exactly two inches away from her feet and staring at her with maximum intensity. Safety first, you know?

I am already drooling thinking about the chicken and sausages. If anyone "accidentally" drops a sausage tomorrow, just know I will be waiting in the shadows.

Have a fantastic weekend, everyone! Keep your snacks close, but keep them closer to me. 🐕
