They travel with them.

Psychological safety isn't simply about reporting hazards.

It's about creating an environment where people can ask for support before issues affect safety, performance or wellbeing.

Yet some of the most serious incidents are prevented because somebody was willing to raise a concern.

A culture where people protect each other will always outperform a culture where people stay silent.

It's one of the reasons experience remains so valuable.

The challenge isn't recognising risk.

It's ensuring people feel comfortable enough to raise it.

The phrase "I had a feeling something wasn't right" appears far too often after an incident.

Psychological safety helps those conversations happen before the event, not after it.

It's the voice of the people doing the job.

Technology can identify speeding.

Dashcams can capture incidents.
