🏡 Big news for the property market!

The Government has announced plans to modernise the home buying and selling process, with the aim of making transactions quicker, smoother and less stressful for everyone involved.

Proposed changes include:

✅ Sales packs providing key property information upfront
✅ Earlier binding agreements to reduce the risk of sales falling through
✅ Digital systems replacing many of the slow, paper-based processes still used today

The hope is that these reforms could reduce transaction times by around four weeks and save first-time buyers hundreds of pounds in unnecessary costs!

It’s important to note that these changes will be introduced gradually, so we won’t see an overnight transformation. However, anything that helps reduce delays and uncertainty in the moving process is certainly a step in the right direction.

We’ll be keeping a close eye on developments and sharing updates as more details emerge 🩵
