According to Mortgage Strategy, physical valuations and home surveys are due to restart.
However, surveyors will still need to follow social distancing rules and, where possible, digital valuations are to be carried out rather than “in-person appointments”.
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is preparing guidance for surveyors attending properties and further details will be published on their website “over the coming days”.
