22/02 - PUSHING BACK LIMITS

Stage: Merzouga - Tazzarine
Distance: 220 km
Terrain: desert plateaux and rocky hills

We decided to associate ourselves with the 4L Trophy because it helps participants push back their limits.

Driving in unfriendly terrain, orientating oneself in the middle of nowhere and enduring the heat and dust day after day make pilots come out of the desert more resilient than they entered it.

That was the beauty of the Marathon stage, that's also what lies at the heart of our work ethic!

21/02 - HAPPY TRAILS

Stage: Merzouga - Erg Chebbi
Distance: 103 km
Terrain: rocks - sands - traps - unchartered territories

No one can predict what they will find in the Moroccan desert: it is so vast that some of its wonders can go unnoticed if you don't seek them.

Chased by a helicopter, the headed for uncharted terrain only to come across a ghost village and a herd of camels. 🐫

20/02 - WE'RE IN BUSINESS

Stage: Merzouga - Oued Ziz
Distance: 112 km
Terrain: Rocky tracks / Sand-traps

Our two pilots have made it to the gates of the Saharan desert, and there's no turning back..

Armed with a compass and map, they found their way through rough terrain and unforgiving sand-traps with the goal of completing the stage with the shortest possible distance.

It was a bit like man v machine, except our 4L coped better with the harsh conditions than our pilots did, overwhelmed by the sand gusts 😂

18/02 - ARRIVAL IN MOROCCO

Stage: Tanger - Boulaajoul
Distance: 525km
Terrain: forest / snowy peaks / desert

After a 6am cross of the Straight of Gibraltar, the was pumped to see the journey begin and met by Morocco's diverse and unique nature 🌲❄️☀️

We quickly left the Mediterranean Sea behind us, to cross the Middle Atlas mountain range into the desert.

First bivouac in Boulaajoul in negative temperatures (check out Hip's face at sunrise) ⛄️
