Working in hospitality offers the opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful people, but some make an impact more than others. Today we celebrate Michelle! She worked for over 30 years in the same organization and has always brought a positive energy.

Today is her last day as she steps into retirement! Well wishes in your retirement, kick up your toes and enjoy the family time!

My favourite Michelle moment is when she brought me the best Pop Tart's (Cinnamon Brown Sugar) that are only available State side. We have shared a lot of laughs over the years and I am happy to see you moving into the next stage of your life!

SPOTLIGHT!

This week, I had the opportunity to connect with Andrea Simonits and Jenna Hotham, Lawyers at Pearsall Marshall LLP. We had a great discussion about the importance of having a legal will, understanding powers of attorney, and taking the first steps toward protecting your legacy.

When we talk about estate planning, it really comes down to one important word: legacy. It’s about making sure your wishes are clearly outlined and your loved ones are cared for in the future.
Andrea and Jenna did an excellent job explaining these topics in a way that’s easy to understand, and highlighting why these documents are so important for individuals and families alike.

As a financial advisor, I see how thoughtful planning today can make a meaningful difference tomorrow.
