🎓 Attention Luminus Financial members!
The CU Succeed Youth Bursary is back for 2026, helping students across Ontario pursue post-secondary education with $100,000 in available financial assistance. Awards range from $1,000 to $3,000! 💰
Every year, more than 30% of Ontario youth choose not to pursue post-secondary education due to financial barriers, and 61% of students worry about having enough money to complete their studies. That’s why initiatives like the CU Succeed Youth Bursary matter.
As a proud supporter of this program, we’re excited to share that Luminus Financial members, along with their children and grandchildren, are eligible to apply!
To qualify, applicants must:
▪️ Be 25 years old or younger by June 30, 2026 (previous recipients continuing their studies may apply beyond age 25)
▪️ Be Ontario residents and Canadian citizens or permanent residents
▪️ Be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program in Canada or abroad, pursuing their first college diploma, undergraduate degree, or Red Seal certification
▪️ Demonstrate financial need and community involvement
▪️ Maintain a minimum grade average of 65%
Last year, OCUF raised $79,000 through its annual golf fundraiser, while Ontario credit unions contributed an additional $15,000 through in-branch campaigns and “Bursary Booster” support. Let’s make an even bigger impact in 2026!
