This year's 13th BCU Foundation Golf Tournament was once again a big success! The weather was mostly on our side, and there were some great games happening on the field. It was great to see some familiar faces and welcome new golfers to the family 💙 Congratulations to the Tournament winners: Oleh Vereshchak, Eugene Mucha, Odysseus Kapadoukakis, and Andy Kapadoukakis! 🏆 A huge thank you to all the players that came out to support our cause, play, socialize, win some prizes and have a great time together. And of course to all our sponsors for supporting this event and making it happen! All the proceeds from the BCU Foundation Golf Tournament are directed to the humanitarian efforts in Ukraine 🇺🇦

We are proud to share the incredible results of the BCU Financial Matching Campaign, held during our Annual General Meeting and continuing for two weeks thereafter.

Thanks to the generosity and compassion of our members, partners, and community, together we raised оver $295,000 in support of the BCU Foundation - Фундація Будучність Ukraine Humanitarian Aid Fund and the Friends of Ukraine Defense Forces Fund, including the $100,000 matching donation from BCU Financial.

These contributions will make a meaningful and immediate impact—providing critical humanitarian assistance and supporting those bravely defending Ukraine. Your support truly matters. Every donation reflects a shared commitment to standing with Ukraine in a time of urgent need. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed, shared the campaign, and helped amplify our efforts.

Together, we have demonstrated the strength of our community and the power of collective action.

As part of BCU Financial's & BCU Foundation - Фундація Будучність's ongoing commitment to supporting Ukraine during these challenging times, we are proud to stand alongside community leaders who are making a meaningful difference.

We are pleased to once again collaborate with Joe Hube and the Niagara Sunflower Festival for Ukraine Relief, a grassroots initiative that brings people together in support of an important cause. Through his fundraising efforts and our matching funds, we were honoured to contribute $11,000 to the St. John the Theologian Ukrainian Catholic Church (St. Catharines) Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine Fundraiser, which plays a vital role in sending containers of essential supplies directly to Ukraine.

This initiative reflects the power of community-driven action, where compassion and dedication lead to real impact for those affected by war. Supporting efforts like these allows us to continue extending help where it is needed most.
We are grateful to our members and partners whose ongoing support makes contributions like this possible—together, we are helping bring hope and relief to Ukraine.
