Your TFSA is tax-free — until it isn’t. ⚠️
Two ways people accidentally trigger a tax bill:

Over-contributing → the CRA charges 1% per month on the excess
Day-trading inside it → the CRA can treat the gains as business income and tax them

The 2026 limit is $7,000. Know your room, and treat it as an investment account, not a trading desk.

Property & stocks → permanent once transferred
Life insurance → usually changeable, unless you name an “irrevocable” beneficiary
