Great news for Insurance Agents and Brokers looking to get Permanent Residency (PR) in Canada!

As of February 27, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has updated the Express Entry system, expanding its category-based selection. Insurance Agents and Brokers (NOC 63100) are now included under the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) occupations category.

Eligibility Criteria:
✔ Work Experience:

Must have at least 6 months of full-time, continuous work experience (or an equivalent amount of part-time experience) as an Insurance Agent or Broker (NOC 63100) within the past 3 years (in Canada or abroad).

✔ Express Entry Requirements:

Candidates must meet the criteria for one of the Express Entry programs:
Federal Skilled Worker Program
Federal Skilled Trades Program
Canadian Experience Class

What This Means for You:
If you meet the eligibility requirements, you can now receive invitations to apply for Permanent Residency (PR) in Canada through the STEM category-based selection.
