May's charity donation was made to Smiles Thru Lindsey Foundation. Smiles Thru Lindsey was created by Rick and Cindy More shortly after the death of their daughter Lindsey. It is established in Lindsey’s memory to support mental health initiatives to assist our youth in central Alberta. To date, this endowment fund has granted over $150,000 toward programs that have impacted those who battle mental health issues. In 2016, the second floor of the Sheldon Kennedy Center of Excellence was named the AHS Lindsey More Youth Mental Health and Addiction Hub in her honor. This community in Central Alberta have supported her foundation, organizing many fund raisers and donations.

April's charity donation was made to Central Alberta Brain Injury Society. CABIS provides support for individuals living with brain injuries, as well as their families and caregivers. Each week, their members meet for social opportunities, events, workshops, and information. Other programs they offer include Support Worker or Caregiver workshops to provide resources, information, strategies to manage stress, and navigate their journeys being a caregiver.

The Central Alberta Brain Injury Society provides a safe and welcoming space for all brain injury survivors free of charge.
