Sharpe Ave Green Deer 2026!
Cleaning up our neighbourhood & enjoying our community.
Our Ing & McKee team collected 12 bags of trash & 602 cigarette butts. Our friends physiotherapy and wellness collected 10 bags & 899 butts! That's a total of 1501 butts that we collected between our groups 🫢

Nothing like friendly competition with our neighbours to get our Green Deer bags filled and our neighbourhood cleaned!

We found some interesting things along the way, including knives, which were disposed of safely, golf balls, and even a queen-sized mattress! Most of what we picked up were coffee cups, food packaging, and bottles.

We have been doing this for several years now, and this was actually the least amount of garbage we have collected in that same 2-hour time frame. That is a great sign that people are becoming more aware of how they dispose of their garbage!

One thing that still stood out this year was the number of cigarette butts we picked up and disposed of. We all agreed that the combined total we picked up is a huge number and a good reminder that cigarette butts are still litter. If you smoke, dispose of the butts properly.

This day is always a favourite for our team. It is a great way to boost morale, spend time together, and have a little frienWesterner Parketition with our neighbour. We covered Sharpe Ave, while Stride took care 19th by the Westerner Park and the dog park.

We are proud to do our part to keep this part of Red Deer clean. And we hope that this inspires you; if you see garbage, pick it up. Small actions make a big difference. Let’s keep our city green

Opening Night at the Red Deer Pro Rodeo Did Not Disappoint 🤠🔥

What a kickoff! This night brought the energy, the excitement, and a whole lot of western spirit, and we couldn’t be prouder to be a partner in such an incredible community event.

For Ing & McKee Insurance, this is what it’s all about. This is where we live, this is where we work, this is who we support, and events like this bring our community together in the best way possible.

The countdown is on for the Red Deer Pro Rodeo, May 21, 22 and 23, and we are loving the energy around it!

We asked our team one simple question to help get us into the Pro Rodeo spirit. How long would you last on a bull? Let’s just say the answers were… honest (well, for the most part). From “less than one second” to “not very long” to “I would rather feed the bull,” there were very few confident cowboys and cowgirls in the group. That said, we may have had a couple of bold claims - with “four to seven seconds” and even “full eight seconds,” but I'm thinking we may need to see that one to believe it! Most people admitted they would be thrown off immediately and most likely, trampled, which is probably the most realistic answer of all. I think it's safe to say that you will find the Ing & McKee team cheering from the stands... not the chute.
