10 Things to STOP Doing If You Want to Get Out of Debt

You keep paying your debtโ€ฆ but why does it feel like the balance never goes down?

Sometimes, the problem is not only your income.

It may be the habits that keep putting you back into debt.

If you really want to become debt-free, start by stopping these:

1. Stop using your credit card like extra income.
Your credit limit is not your money. You still have to pay it back.

2. Stop paying only the minimum.
If you can afford to pay a little extra, do it. Even small extra payments can help.

3. Stop borrowing money to pay another debt.
Without a clear plan, you are only moving the problem from one place to another.

4. Stop buying things just because they are on sale.
You are not saving money if you did not need the item in the first place.

5. Stop increasing your lifestyle every time your income goes up.
When you earn more, try increasing your debt payments before increasing your spending.

6. Stop ignoring your bank and credit card statements.
Know exactly how much you owe and where your money is going.

7. Stop comparing your lifestyle to other people.
You do not know if what you see online was paid in cash or paid with debt.

8. Stop saying, โ€œI deserve it,โ€ every time you want to spend.
You also deserve financial peace and less stress.

9. Stop waiting for a bigger income before fixing your finances.
Start with the money you have today.

10. Stop creating new debt while paying old debt.
This is one of the biggest habits you need to break.

You do not have to become debt-free overnight.

Your first goal is simple:

Stop making the debt bigger.

Then work your way out, one payment, one habit, and one debt at a time.

Save this post before your next unnecessary purchase.

Which one are you guilty of โ€” 1 to 10?

10 Ways to Pay Off Your Debts โ€” Even When Youโ€™re Broke

Feeling like you canโ€™t pay off debt because thereโ€™s barely anything left after the bills?

You donโ€™t need a huge income to start. You need a planโ€”and small moves you can repeat consistently.

1. List every debt you have.
Write down the balance, minimum payment, and interest rate. You canโ€™t fix what you refuse to look at.

2. Stop adding new debt.
Paying $200 while borrowing another $300 keeps you stuck in the same cycle.

3. Start with one debt.
Choose either the smallest balance for quick wins or the highest-interest debt to save more money.

4. Pay more than the minimumโ€”even $10 or $20.
Small extra payments still help reduce your balance faster.

5. Cut expenses temporarily.
Subscriptions, takeout, shopping, and unnecessary upgrades can wait. This is temporary, not forever.

6. Sell things you no longer use.
Clothes, furniture, gadgets, or anything collecting dust can become debt payments.

7. Find extra income.
Overtime, part-time work, cleaning, delivery, freelancing, or a small side hustle. Even a few hundred dollars can make a difference.

8. Use unexpected money wisely.
Tax refunds, bonuses, gifts, or extra payโ€”before spending it, put a portion toward debt.

9. Call your creditors if youโ€™re struggling.
Ask if they have lower-interest options, payment arrangements, or hardship programs. Donโ€™t just ignore the bill.

10. Celebrate progress, not perfection.
Your first goal doesnโ€™t have to be becoming debt-free overnight. Start by owing less than you did last month.

Being broke today doesnโ€™t mean youโ€™ll stay broke forever.

The goal is not to pay everything at once.

The goal is to stop diggingโ€”and start climbing.

Which one are you starting this month: 1โ€“10?

Follow for more practical money tips, especially if youโ€™re trying to get out of debt and finally start saving.

5 Things na Ginagawa Mo Kaya Lubog Ka sa Utang

Kung may utang ka ngayon, this is for you.

Kasi baka hindi lang ang existing debt mo ang problema.

Baka may mga ginagawa ka pa rin araw-araw na lalo kang nagpapalubogโ€”kahit hindi mo napapansin.

Masakit marinig, pero baka kaya hindi ka makaahon sa utang ay hindi dahil maliit ang sweldo moโ€”kundi dahil ginagawa mo pa rin ang mga bagay na nagbaon saโ€™yo in the first place.

Here are 5 things na baka kailangan mo nang tigilan:

Which one ang pinaka-relate ka ngayonโ€”1, 2, 3, 4, or 5?

Save this para mabalikan mo kapag natetempt kang mangutang ulit, at follow for more practical financial reminders.

1,019,885 VIEWS IN 45 DAYS. ๐Ÿ™โš”๏ธ WE DID IT!

When I started the Kraken Challenge 45 days ago, I knew the goal was 1 MILLION views.

But I also knew it wasnโ€™t going to be easy.

There were days I was tired. Days when I had work, appointments, responsibilities, and still had to think about what to post, film another Reel, edit another video, write another story, and show up again.

Sometimes the views were high. Sometimes they werenโ€™t.

But I kept posting.

Today, I officially reached 1,019,885 cumulative views and became #7 out of only 9 Kraken Slayers who reached the 1 MILLION VIEW milestone. ๐Ÿ†

But more than the number, this journey means so much more to me.

Because behind those 1 million views were real stories, real testimonies, financial education, life lessons, and a glimpse into my life as an insurance broker.

Every Reel was another opportunity to educate someone.

Every story was a chance to encourage someone.

Every testimony was a reminder that what we do in this industry can truly make a difference in someoneโ€™s life.

And every view represented a person who stoppedโ€”even for a few secondsโ€”to listen.

I started this challenge wanting to reach 1 million views.

But somewhere along the way, I realized I was building something bigger:

A voice.
A platform.
A community.
And a bigger opportunity to educate and help more people.

This challenge pushed me outside my comfort zone. It taught me consistency, creativity, discipline, and most importantlyโ€”to keep showing up even when nobody knows whether the next video will get 500 views or 500,000.

45 days.
#7 out of 9 Million View Achievers.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. ๐Ÿ™โš”๏ธ

To everyone who watched, liked, commented, shared, followed, and supported my contentโ€”THANK YOU.

You became part of this milestone.

The Kraken Challenge may be endingโ€ฆ

but this journey of educating, sharing stories, and helping more families is only beginning.

From Ask Annieโ€”expect more stories, more education, more real-life conversations, and more reasons to keep moving forward.

The Kraken has been slayed.
Now itโ€™s time for the next chapter. โค๏ธ
