Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about me! I achieved my Business degree from SFU concentrating in Finance and Economics and have worked in different major Canadian financial institutions helping clients fulfill their financial

goals since 2006. Working as a Mortgage Professional, my role allows me to share my knowledge on the real estate market and advise people through one of the largest investments of their lives. My approach is to strategize and execute a plan to help clients get the most out of lenders and government incentive programs. When I'm not in the office, I am a proud supporter of the BC Women's Hospital + Health Center Foundation. I also love volunteering at my local church and spending quality time with my wife and young daughter.

The World Cup is officially here. ⚽🌎

Seeing Vancouver dressed up for the tournament over the past few weeks was exciting, but now that the games have started, the atmosphere feels completely different.

There's a buzz around the city, fans everywhere, and a sense that we're part of something much bigger than ourselves.

No matter which team you're cheering for, it's pretty special to see Vancouver on the world stage.

Who's been following the matches so far?

Most people assume paying off a mortgage faster is automatically the smartest financial move.

But the real question is:
What creates more value over time — reducing debt faster or investing strategically?

The answer depends on your rate, timeline, financial goals, and what your money could realistically earn elsewhere.

In this carousel, we break down the math behind both strategies and when each one actually makes sense.

DM “MORTGAGE” if you want help figuring out which approach fits your situation.

Everyone tells you to pay off your mortgage faster.

Very few people explain the trade offs.

In this episode, I break down why some homeowners and young families are prioritizing flexibility, investing, and cash flow instead of aggressively paying down their mortgage.

If I don’t answer right away, don’t worry... 😌

I’m probably enjoying a bubble tea and pretending my responsibilities can’t see me.

Everything will get done.
Just not before this first sip. 😂

Most people think paying off their mortgage early is always the smartest move.

But depending on your strategy, it could actually cost you more in the long run.

The question is not just how fast you pay it off.
It’s what your money could be doing instead.

New episode dropping next week.
Don’t miss it. 🎙️

POV: My clients expect me to reply no matter what’s happening 😅

In the shower? Replying.
Choking on water? Still replying.
Bathroom break? Somehow also replying.
Half asleep? “Sounds good, I’ll review that tonight.”

At this point, responding to messages is basically a survival skill.

Most people are waiting for a “market crash.”

But what’s actually happening in 2026 is more subtle and, for homeowners, potentially more important.

Equity is being viewed differently.
Strategies are changing.
And smart homeowners in Vancouver and Toronto are adapting before everyone else catches on.

In this new episode of the Asian Connection Mortgage Podcast, I break down what’s happening and what it could mean for your next financial move.

🎧 Perfect for your next drive, commute, or time stuck in traffic.

People see the trips.
The bubble tea.
The football games.
The fun moments.

What they don’t see are the late nights, difficult files, problem solving, stress, and constant conversations happening behind the scenes.

This business was never really about mortgages for me.

It’s about relationships.
Helping people make better decisions.
Creating a life where I can be present for my family while still serving others at a high level.

Grateful for every client, referral partner, friend, and supporter who has been part of this journey. ❤️

And yes… I’m always down for bubble tea. 🧋
