The federal government has officially approved a new GST rebate for First Time Buyers of new homes.

If you bought any time after March 20, 2025, or you're thinking about making a move soon, you could benefit.

Here's How:

✔️ Homes up to $1M: Full 5% GST rebate — up to $50,000 back.
✔️ Homes between $1M and $1.5M: A rebate calculated on a sliding scale.
❌ Homes over $1.5M: No rebate.

⭐️ The fine print: To qualify as a First Time Buyer, you (or your spouse/ common-law partner) can't have owned and lived in a home in the year you bought or in the four years before that.
